Abstract
A research on testing the inffuence of etctract of the leaves of gynura procumbens (Lour) Merr. On the blood HDL choLesterol concentration of white female mice had been done. This was done to sixty mice divided in four groups and each group was treated as follows control group (coconut oil) and the other three groups was treated by giving coconut oil and the extract with three variety doses (30, 100 and 300 mg/kg BW) the observation was done on day 7th , 14 th and 21 th by using the enzymatic method with spectrophatometre. The experimental result indicates that extracf of Gynura procumbens (Loaur) Merr. Can be increasing HDL cholesterol in some variaty of dose.
