Abstract
This research was done in 3 private own banks. The purpose of this research is to compare the banks performance using CAMELS and efficiency method wich offers an application of non parametric analytic technique (data envelopment analysis, DEA). This research is quantitative research with comparative descriptive method. The information was collected with documentary technique, from annual report from each bank. CAMELS method is counted by CAR, BDR, NPL, ROA, ROE, BOPO, LDR. Efficiency method is counted by EFF, P/L, NIM, RDIBA, ROA, ROE. It is shown that the bank which has the best performance according to CAMELS and Efficiency method is SDRA. Both of CAMELS and efficiency method show the same result in appraise the bank performance.
