Abstract

This study investigated about entrepreneurial intention of students. It also describes about factors that influenced their intention to become entrepreneurs. Stein Kristiansen and Nurul Indarti (2004) concluded that the factors including demographic and individual background, individual characteristic, and contextual elements such as access to capital. The research questioned 100 students of the Department of Management Andalas University which has at least 6 semesters because they relatively have some planning about what will they do in the future. The research provide a starting point to know about their profile and encourage the development of entrepreneurship characteristic in Andalas University
