Abstract
The use of parenteral medications and intraveuous admixtures at surgery wards of a public hospital had been studied. This study was about inappropriateness of the use of parenteral medications included complication of use, rate of use and evaluition of intravenous admixtures systelu. The results showed lltat inappropriateness oithe use of parenteral medication included complication of use 3,58% and rate of use 90,65%.The evaluation of intravenous admixtures system showed that only 16,91% fulfilled the criteria as required in literatures.
