Abstract

The study of anticancer effect from aethanol extract from “ Aka Lambung “ Leaves (Merremia peltata (L.) To the male white mice has been done using the Micronucleus Assay methods. The inducer agents of developing mice micronuclei cell is single dose of 50 mg/BW siclofosphamide that was given intraperitonial. The observed para meter is the decreasing effect of the micronuclei cell in femur bone marrow and the increasing number of hematocrit value of the experimental mice. The result of this study shows that by give the extract within the dose of ( 30; 100; 300 mg/kg BW ) can decrease micronuclei cell compared with the micronuclei cell from the mice wich only given siclofosphamide ( positive control) significantly ( P < 0,05 ). This decreasing level is relevant with …… doses. The give extract can also raise the hematocrite number of experimental mice compare with the mice only given siclofosphamide significantly ( P < 0,05 ). Key words :
