Abstract

This is the first reference book describing the Biological Education and Research Forest (called as HPPB) of Andalas University written in English to reach a wider audience. Here, writers provide general information about history and management of the HPPB, biodiversity richness, services and facilities, local and worldwide collaborators, potential research subjects and activities. The writers present views and access to the facilities, and photographs of representative Sumatran’s flora and fauna from various taxa exist in the HPPB. This book aims to serve education, research and conservation in all related subjects to the field of biology.
