Abstract

FACULTY of NURSING ANDALAS UNIVERSITY April 2014 Nadiatul mardiah (1210326058) Children learning differences in achievement in working mother mom and do not work in sdit adzkia padang year 2014 Abstract In this day and age the mother 's role has shifted from the traditional role of being modern . From his role as the housekeeper only educate children and mothers now have a role social which can be supported by a career with higher education is evident that from the analysis of data obtained from the central statistical agency of mothers working in Indonesia has increased from 2002 to 2008 as many as 1,062,568 souls . This problem greatly affects the learning achievement of children in school , especially for mothers who have children at school age . Learning achievement of children is the result of the assessment of children's learning at school during the lesson . In launching the mother's educational assistance to school children's learning is very important for the improvement of learning achievement of children . Therefore this study aimed to see the difference the difference in learning achievement of children of working mothers and mothers did not work . This study used a cross sectional design to 80 students . Statistical test using independent unpaired t test . The results of this study showed that the average learning achievement of children on mothers to work is 73.70 and the average learning achievement of children in the mother does not work is 83.95 . there is a significant difference between working mothers and mothers do not work on children's learning achievement with the results ( p = 0.003 ) . Advice to the institution so that the school can provide additional guidance lessons to students or to communicate directly with parents and provide guidance for parents gave wakru more in control children's learning .
