Abstract
The objectives of this experiments were to get a transplanting of onion right into the field in order to increase crop yields on climate change vulnerable areas. This study was conducted at land in Nagari Saniang Baka, Kabupaten Solok and the Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, University of Andalas Padang, from November 2013 to April 2014.This study used acompletely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 3 levels of treatment and 6 replications. The result sof this study is the time of planting seeds give Significantly different results to the number of leaves, but not Significantly different to the long circular bulbs, plant height, weight and dry weight base bulbs. Of the three tested planting time, planting time age 5 weeks after sowing is the best planting time for planting at this time of weight and dry weight yield base smost good bulbs.
