Abstract

FAKULTAS KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS JULI 2014 Nama : Febri Rahmi Putri No Bp : 07121026 Hubungan Konsep Diri Dengan Kejadian Merokok Pada Remaja Awal Di Kelurahan Terandam Padang Tahun 2014 ABSTRAK Merokok bagi sebagian masyarakat Indonesia sudah dianggap sebagai perilaku yang wajar dan telah berkembang hampir di setiap kalangan termasuk remaja, padahal rokok merupakan 85% penyebab kanker paru –paru. Pada tahun 2001 sampai 2010 terjadi peningkatanlebih dari 50% jumlah usia perokok usia 10 – 14 tahun. Merokok ini selain dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor individu itu sendiri, seperti konsep diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan konsep diri dengan kejadian merokok pada remaja SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Teknik yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 15 Juli 2014 di kelurahan Terandam dengan jumlah responden 50 orang. Data dianalisa univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat dengan chi square. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat hubunganbermakna anatara konsep diri dengan kejadian merokok p= 0,065 (p>005).Berdasarkan hal tersebut disarankan kepada pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan kegiatan ekstrakuliler sekolah.. Kepada pihak puskesmas agar lebih giat mengadakan penyuluhan – penyuluhan mengenai rokok. Kata kunci : konsep diri, merokok, remaja Daftar Pustaka : 26 (1994 - 2014) FACULTY OF NURSING ANDALAS UNIVERSITY JULI 2014 Name : Febri Rahmi Putri Registered numbered : 07121026 Relationship between self concept with the incident of early adolescence smoker at Terandam Padang In 2014 ABSTRACT Smoking for the majority of Indonesian society, regard as one of fine habit and already evolved in many group society include adolescent, but actually smoking is the main cause of lung cancer. Since 2001 until 2010, there are a huge increase of the early smokers about 50% in the age 10 to 14. Smoking habit is caused by various factor, beside of environment factors, the self factor also correlate to smoking habit. Example : self concept. The type of research is correlational with cross sectional design, and use an accidental sampling as a sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Datas were collected on juli 16, 2014 at Terandam district area with the number of respondents were 50 people. Data were analyzed with univariat analysis, for frequencies distribution dan bivariate analysis with chi square test. The result analysis of chi square test, p = 0,065 (p<0,05). In other word, the zero hypothesis was accepted. Based on these finding, it can be conclude that there is no relationship between self concept and smoking for adolescent .Based on these, the school need to optimize the program or create an event for student to make them more active and for the clinic to give a more counseling in the future.
