Abstract
NURSING FACULTY UNIVERSITY ANDALAS April 2014 Nofria No.BP. 1210326026 Factors Affecting Implementation of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding Behavior (IMD ) On Mother's Work Area Post Partum on HC Bungus 2014 ABSTRACT Coverage of early initiation of breastfeeding ( IMD ) in Padang in 2012 found as many as 14 069 (79.9 %) infants were given IMD . While the scope of early breastfeeding initiation ( IMD ) are the lowest in Bungus health center . This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation ( IMD ) in women post partum . This research is a descriptive analytic cross-sectional approach. The study population was all the mother 's in the post partum Working Area Health Center Bungus 501 people . Samples taken were 30 accidental sampling. Research will be conducted in the Work Area Health Center Bungus which will be held in April 2014. Equipment data collection in the form of a questionnaire. Data processing is computerized and analyzed using univariate and bivariate . The results showed that 66.7 % of women were knowledgeable low, 56.7 % mothers negative attitude, 53.3 % support a good officer , 70.0 % less family support , 63.3 % were not implemented IMD. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge , attitude , support personnel and family support with the implementation of the IMD . It is expected that the relevant agencies ( Health Department / Community Health Center ) to conduct training APN , exclusive breastfeeding is continiu to birth attendants , in order to apply early initiation of breastfeeding and postpartum on each monitor or evaluate the place of birth which had been trained.
