Abstract

A medical faculty student must be able to communicate with patients from various backgrounds, including various ethnic groups. One ethnic group that has specific principles and rules in communicating is the Minangkabau tribe. Medical students who are studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Andalas University are important to understand the principles of communicating according to Minangkabau culture
