Abstract
An experiment on in vitro conservation of gambier germplasm has been conducted from June to October 2006. The objective of the experiment was to find best strength of MS basal media to gambier plantlets. The experiment used a Completely Randomised Design with five and 3 replicates. The treatments were different strength of MS basal media as follow: full strength of MS, 1/2 MS, 1/4 MS, 1/8 MS ad 1/16 MS. Data were analysed with F-test and multiple comparison used Tukey at 5% level. Results showed that 1/16 strength of MS basal media was best to gambier plantlets for conservation
