Abstract

Isolation of Fungi Candida albicans and Trichophyton rubrum Antifungals Activity Test Extracts and Fractions Sponges to Isolate Abstrak Isolation of the fungus Candida albicans and Trichophyton rubrum from patients at the hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Isolates tested against some of the methanol extracts of marine sponges with a diffusion method. Marine sponge is one of the invertebrate animals that have biological activity that is useful in the treatment of disease. Concentration of the extract was made 15%, 10% and 5%, continuing an active extract fractionation using different solvent polarity levels of n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate, butanol. Active extracts are marine sponge Stylissa massa concentration giving 15% inhibition by 21 mm diameter of the fungus Candida albicans and Trichophyton rubrum does not give the diameter of the resistor. and butanol fractions resulting in inhibition diameter but very weak. Djamil Padang. Pengujian isolat terhadap beberapa ekstrak metanol spon laut dengan metoda difusi. Spon laut merupakan salah satu hewan invertebrata yang mempunyai aktivitas biologi yang berguna dalam pengobatan penyakit. Ekstrak dibuat konsentrasi 15%, 10% dan 5%, ekstrak yang aktif dilanjutkan fraksinasi menggunakan pelarut yang berbeda tingkat kepolarannya fraksi n-heksana, etil asetat, butanol. Ekstrak yang aktif adalah spon laut Stylissa massa dengan konsentrasi 15% memberikan diameter hambat sebesar 21 mm terhadap jamur Candida albicans dan jamur Trichophyton rubrum tidak memberikan diameter hambat. kemudian pada fraksi butanol yang menghasilkan diameter hambat tetapi sangat lemah.
