Abstract

The essential oil had been isolated from Ocimum basilicum L folium. using water distillation method and the citotoxic activity had been studied using “Brine Shrimp Lethality Bioassay”. The results of citotoxic experimental of the essential oil from Ocimum basilicum L. yield LC50 1,6182 μg/ml
